Wetherby Whaler kits out young players at Wakefield FC

The Wetherby Whaler in Wakefield is supporting Wakefield FC Juniors with new football kits and track suits.
The fish and chip restaurant and takeaway has pledged assistance to the Under 10's team, which plays in the Charles Rice League. The youngsters, who are based at Thornes Park in Central Wakefield, will now have brand new kit and tracksuits as the go into the new season.
The Under 10's, who have played together since being part of the Under 6's, are one of two teams at Wakefield FC that play in the Charles Rice League, the other being the Under 8's. The team plays against clubs in the Wakefield, Dewsbury and Barnsley areas.
Phillip Murphy, owner of The Wetherby Whaler, said: "We're delighted to be able to sponsor the kit and tracksuits for Wakefield FC's Under 10's. They are a fantastic young team that has played together for the last few years and they train together each week."
