Sponsoring Local Football

The local youth football team are hoping to have a whale of a time in their new football kits following their new sponsorship. Members of Youth football club Guisesley juniors have been kited out with new strips thanks to the fantastic support from the Wetherby whaler. The local side offers over 500 children the chance to be involved in sport in the area, making Guiseley Juniors the largest junior football club in the country. With the age groups ranging from under 6’s right through to under 17’s. donations from local sponsors ans supporters help the club to create these chances.
Ian Elsworth, Guiseley Juniors’ under 9’s Blue Team coach, said; “It means so much to all the children involved to be part of a team community and to be able to get active. The new strip will give our team even more confidence as we enter the new season.”
Philip Murphy, owner of the Wetherby whaler, said; “The community in Guiseley is very important to us, particulary since it has supported our new restaurant so well. We wish the team all the best and look forword to hearing about their success.”
